Katsuo normally dresses in a quite relaxed way. Just a simple pair of trousers and a few collared shirts, nothing too restricting. While he is quite happy being a Ninja he feels no need to dress like one. Though when required he will still wear his uniform, but being hidden is a better example to set to his eyes. He is also almost never without a pair of sunglasses of some form, normally a pair of aviators but anything will do, even in the dark.

His face is long with an angular nose, attractive in a more traditional way. His body lean and extremely tight, rippling with muscles. Eyes a hard brown, brown hair falling loosely from his shoulders, matching a beard that is longest on his chin. He takes great care to look as he does, to seem aloof and not that much of a Ninja, to make everyone else more at ease.

Personality:

Katsuo takes just about everything as it comes. Never thinking anything is impossible nor that anything must happen. So he is rarely surprised and never tells people that they can’t do something, merely that they shouldn’t. His goal is to lead a peaceful quiet life. Once he wanted to be a powerful Ninja, these days he is quite happy just to come home in the evenings and spend time with his wife and friends. Missions once in a while are nice but he has little concern for becoming more powerful or battling others. Just making sure he still as a home to come back to and doing his part to protect it is all that stops him from hanging up his headband. For him family comes first, then friends, then the village. Quite a serious but laid back guy, but still quite a lot of fun. Having a quick wit and a wicked sense of humor he is very happy to fill a room with laughter.

Once asked to do something he finds it almost impossible to say no, not to help out. Very dependable to do anything asked for him but still, he dislikes having to work too much, down time is important. Even so, he will put in his all when it comes to completing something, though he will never work overtime.

Katsuo has a great memory for facts and is quite able to keep track of even obscure things. He lacks when it comes to theory and abstract thinking, going on what he knows and what he can see rather that what might be. He never expects that to be true though, he just plans for the normal things to happen in a normal way. He also has problems with taking on other peoples ways of thinking, but he’ll try if they give him time. In the same vain he rarely appreciates that people need to be told well done once in a while, and doesn’t expect people to tell him that. on this note as well though he does try, when he remembers. Similarly he tends not to display affection in public even though he is an extremely sensitive person when it comes to his wife. At home he is a totally different person than how he is at work. Playful and romantic, willing to do anything however small.

History:

Katsuo was never that great of a Ninja. Coming average in the academy and taking life easy, trying to just enjoy it. Taking lessons seriously he never really had any problems, though homework was not something he always could be bothered to do. Making friends was the main thing, just making the most of the life he had. Never really having any rivals or much drive to be anything amazing. It all happened to be fun and games, learning facts that were interesting.

Home was plain and simple, his father a Ninja of moderate means. His mother a florist who went on to own her own shop. Leaving him with a unexpected knowledge of plants and flowers, something that actually helped him several times in his training. Knowing what can be eaten, what can be helpful and what can be poisonous. He developed a lot of respect for people that aren’t Ninja over the years and still likes to try things their way when the feeling takes him. His home life was the same, mostly normal with nothing exciting or interesting. Just his father and his mother, and example that he wanted to follow more than anything else in the world. So it was enough to just graduate at fifteen and make a respectable living for himself.


Rather than anything subtle Katsuo’s strenght was his strongest asset. Finding training his body the easiest way to achieve when he was younger he made himself one of the strongest when it came to physical combat, neglecting his justu. So by the time he was a Genin just about everyone surpassed him thanks to that. So under real training and instruction he started to make up for that. Training Ninjustu of all types under his Sensei that allowed him to make up lost ground. His personal favourite was summoning jutsu. This was one that he taught himself from various books as a side project. After a great many failed attempts he found himself dropped into the ocean a very long way from home. Rather bewildered at first he found is way to a nearby island. It was a large tropical paradise, all sorts of creatures but very few seemed to fit his idea of a summon. After a night on the island he found himself watching a turtle on the beach, able to take note that there were a great many of them. After a few more nights on the island he finally found a group of them in a small collection of hot springs.

Still rather confused with where he was he took the chance to join them in the water. Staying long enough to almost fall asleep before out of the blue one of the started to talk to him, asking what he was doing here. After a very long conversation and several more days on the island he was finally taken to meet the The Great and Venerable Watatsumi, chief turtle. It was a conversation that went on for days, both of them taking a long time with their words. In the end the Chief accepted to help him on the condition that he would provide for the worlds traveling turtles, should one require assistance. In return for this he would be returned home and be able to sign a contract to summon turtles himself when he require them. Still for several more days he trained with the turtles. Learning to swim and how to defend without motion, as well as their laid back mindset.

Once home he had to recount the story to just about everyone and train on summoning turtles. Something that he rarely uses but he always goes out of his way to help any of the few turtles he sees. Life went back to normal after a very nice holiday.

Then after just a year, war broke out. His station was almost always at home. Training and patrolling the village, getting stronger and gaining a life long want to never be too far from home. His father disappeared on missions for most of the war so he was left to keep his mother company. Seeing the pain it caused his mother he made sure in his mind never to do that himself. The years went on and even though he became stronger and more capable he always remained on the home front, barely even going out of sight of the village. So his knowledge of it is almost unsurpassed.


Once the war was finally over Katsuo was made a Chuunin at seventeen, having grown strong enough to punch through solid rock. He also fell in love with his future wife, a young lady just starting out at her parents bakery. Everything was as he wanted, the odd mission when they came up, a wife, a home. Things only started getting hard in the last few years. Training students could be fun, something he quite enjoyed most of the time. There were a few hard ones but most were fine. One made his life a misery though, her constant fighting and arguing, every day became a chore. Still he does his best and doesn’t let on too much.

Description:
Shoga is one of the largest creatures in existence, about three miles long the shell on his back makes up the main home of the turtle summons. He moves extremely slowly but can swim faster than most creatures. His shear weight is a weapon, he can also launch Suiton Jutsu of such size it can destroy villages. He normally can’t be bothered to do anything though and hates being summoned. He does however have an absolutely massive chakra reserve and if convinced to do so could provide enough to rival a tailed beast, it takes much longer to recharge however. Due to his size it also takes a monumental amount of chakra to summon him more than any human alive has on their own.

Description:
Two hundred meters long Nanmei is still very large for a turtle. He spends most of his time very deep under the water so despite being one of the oldest turtles he has remained much smaller than the Island sized turtles that roam the wide seas. His shell is almost black, completely covered in wrapped of seaweed with a headband around his eyes. He detects obstacles by movement in the water and on land by the sound they make. He doesn’t like getting into fights but once he is in one he is able to detect just about any movement by anything. His normal attack is with huge wooden shuriken made from sunken ships that he grips with his chakra control.

I dropped the SA done to C-rank for now but the training is up (even though you should have waited for him to be approved) so once he is approved, ill look it over and then grant you the SA right away. Aside from that this looks good to me. I think the summons are nice and work well, though I'll say that I'm not too keen on the largest one having that much chakra reserve despite being that large. The largeness aside, the chakra reserve being similar to a tailed-beasts is almost too much. So just tone that down a wee bit and you've got my approval.
