The Inuzuka Clan is one of the various clans gathered together by the Uchiha Clan to form the basis of their coalition. Having previously been in direct opposition of the Senju and being allies of the Akimichi Clan, it was only natural that the Inuzuka Clan back the Uchiha when the Akimichi clan chose to side with the Senju. The Inuzuka Clan saw this as a break of their alliance and felt betrayed. The Inuzuka clan is known for their use of Ninken (Ninja Hounds) as fighting companions and are easily identified by the distinctive red fang markings on their cheeks. The members are also given their own canine partner(s) when they reach a certain age. Thereafter, the Shinobi and their dog(s) are practically inseparable. Due to the Inuzuka's passive, genetic ability  and the bond between an Inuzuka and their canine partner(s), their chakra is allowed to mix, and is shared between them, adding a feral appearance to the human partners. This creates a bond between them that affords them the use of the clan's collaboration jutsu, such as the Fang Passing Fang. The clan members are also able to communicating with canines even if the dogs cannot talk.

Description:
Members of the Inuzuka Clan possess a strong form of animal empathy, specifically for creatures of the canine variety. Forming an almost psychic bond with their pets at a young age, they are able to become almost the perfect team. This is all well and good in combat, however their partner is far more fragile then they are, and should one or the other partner be disabled for some reason then they lose access to a majority of their family abilities as a result.
