Appearance:

Eden in general has a very athletic, yet supermodel body type. She has always been active in many sports such as equivalents to soccer, football, swimming, baseball, and track; she excelled especially in martial arts. Due to these many activities she participated in, she has a great amount of stamina and is extremely fit. Due to her constant martial arts training, her bones became very sturdy and her muscles grew tough and toned, which takes hold of 93% of her entire weight, which is 164 pounds. Muscle weighs naturally more than fat, hence the extra weight for what she looks like she weighs.

Her family tree is accustomed to breeding average-sized individuals, men ranging from five feet eight inches to six feet five inches, and women ranging from five feet two inches to five feet eleven inches. She fell to the high middle end of the average height of most women in her family, which her height was five feet seven inches. She gained her height specifically from her mother as she too retained the same height when she was at her prime.

From her mother, she also retains her hair style, hair color, eye color, and skin color. As in the picture above, she has long, red hair that comes down to the bottom of her back and the style remains the same: straight with a slight curve at the ends of her hair and at her bangs. Her eye color is a deep sapphire blue and it could be compared to looking into the deepest part of the Pacific Ocean. Her skin color became rather pale over the years, though there are still remnants of color especially visible on her face as her cheeks always held a slight amount of blush in them. Despite her clothing, she is actually very proper, though she doesn't really care what those around her think about her usual attire which is rather revealing. Eden tends to do things like bow and use proper greetings to other shinobi/villagers she associates with as well, which even in general that is not very common in such times of war. It is more a matter of kindness and comic relief that she uses her manners. In terms of kindness, well...that is self-explanatory; Eden treats people around her the way she wants to be treated, so she tries her best to be polite and "proper."

There is only one marking of note on Eden's body and that is a tattoo of a flaming dragon on the back of her right hand, though she herself does not entirely know how she received it. There are scars that riddle her body but they are nearly invisible to the naked eye. The only places she does not have scars is her face, her hands, her feet, and her..."areas."

Personality:

Eden cannot be described in just a few sentences. She is indeed very complex and it is often too difficult for most anyone to understand who she is beneath her hardened exterior.

• At a glance, she can be judged as “serious” or “proud,” as she has a very proper form of posture and always manages to keep a very seemingly strict facial expression. The way she walks indicates that she is very graceful and she takes her appearance very seriously. This does not mean, though, that she does not express happiness or laughter or sadness. This general and common facial expression with her is not so much "strict" but more along the lines of "professional," or "experienced." She is by no means unfriendly, however. She is quite sociable and rather enjoys taking part in conversation.
  
  
• In terms of speech, she is very fluid and calm in her speech which would tell people around her that she holds education in very high regard. She speaks as though her voice has different musical tones and depth, which indicates that she is not boring to talk to and can manage to hold peoples’ attention. On the topic of speech, she does not often speak and only speaks when necessary. She always seems to say very wise things so when she does speak to those around her, everyone always tends to listen.
  
  
• To the average stranger she is taken in with an instant respect just by the air exuberating around her. However, some shy away due to this very feeling, leaving the woman alone and unconnected with some of the society around her. This is because, due to her experience in the war front, she has amassed a great amount of achievements throughout her time thus far as a Land of Fire shinobi. Because of said achievements, she is somewhat feared by the people she protects every day, though she is not hated. It could be compared to watching a lion tear apart its prey. Even though the sight of it sends a sense of fear deep into your heart, you can't help but still admire its power and ferocity.
  
  
• Underneath her exterior lies a great many things. One such thing is that she is extremely depressed and never decides to show such emotions as it would bring undesirable attention to her. On that subject, she does not like getting too much attention. She would much rather keep to herself than talk to the people around her. Because of that, she is to a certain degree shy, though she doesn't show it to those around her. Many contradictions throughout her complex personality is clear, but such a thing is very common in an age filled to the skies with war and bloodshed.
  
  
• She, by nature, is extremely loyal and trustworthy. Every one of her friends knows this about her without a doubt and Eden is like this because she believes that if one cannot trust another, there can be no peace at all. The same goes for her loyalty, as she believes that those who cannot be loyal to another can never find friendship. Eden is definitely someone you can count on in and out of battle, and she would make for the perfect kind of friend.
  
  
• Taking into consideration the stress her heart (emotions) places on her, she is usually very kind and for the most part happy. Those who know her well enough often get confused by this trait of hers as it is unknown even to Eden how she manages still to be happy and composed while under so much emotional stress. This is most likely, to her knowledge, due to her experience in this time of war and strife. Without the experience she has, she would have likely cracked a long time ago from all that she has gone through and seen.
  
  
• SPT - a term created by Eden and is abbreviated for "Stupid People Tolerance." This term was derived from the certain people she had encountered over the years who were exceptionally idiotic and annoying. She categorized this trait in terms of five levels, each level clearly defining how far up the tolerance meter she is. The first level is meant for people who were very easy to tolerate or had no true moments of utter stupidity and are on Eden's good list. The second level is meant for people who had their moments of stupidity but it was humorous and was acceptable stupidity as friends would when joking around. The third level is the neutral zone where people who Eden deemed right in the middle and were beginning to go into the bad area. These people still had a good chance of coming back to the good list. The fourth level is meant for people who were quite annoying and she could only take so much of them until she punched them. These people still had somewhat of a fighting chance to get onto Eden's good list eventually. The fifth level is meant to be reserved for the select few who were so annoying that she has put them on a death list. These few people have little to no chance of getting on Eden's good list.

History:


In a time of war, in March of 1543, a girl was born. That girl’s name was Eden Alexandria, and though she had only just been born her not-so-distant future was already set in stone. Tragedy would befall her time and time again, because of war. Her father and mother before her were shinobi of the Land of Fire, and quite possibly two of the finest in their generation. Their skills allowed them to live well into their 50’s, so by that alone, one could tell she was bred from a line of great shinobi. This gave her much to be proud of in the future as she grew. Born in such a time period, she had no room to live as a normal child would have, and was rather forced to grow up mentally at a very young age. Luckily, she was born into a family with others her age. Siblings. There were two elder brothers, one elder sister and one younger sister. They found comfort in each other’s company as they were trained in the arts of the shinobi early on in their lives. Eden was only six years of age when the training began, and though it was harsh at first, it slowly but surely became routine after a couple of years. Until the age of ten years, Eden was put through intense physical training and jutsu. Exercises such as push-ups, sit-ups, pull-ups, and wall sitting was commonplace and became a daily, three-time-a-day routine. On top of that, she had a knack for taijutsu from the beginning and her father realized it rather quickly so he decided to begin teaching her the art of hand-to-hand combat when she had only turned eight. However, she wasn't just trained to throw punches and kicks. She was put through grueling endurance tests in order to harden her body. These "tests" included but was not limited to hitting trees with different parts of her body, sparring with her elder brothers, getting hit to different parts of her body by her father and mother, as well as taking beatings from her father again only to harden her body. She was always nursed back to health, and her family was always just that. Family. They all always managed to remain together, at least for a while, and that was the happiness they all looked forward to every day. Out of all her siblings, Eden grew to mastery of taijutsu much faster and her body was constantly being toughened day after day after day. She knew nothing of giving up as it was instilled by her own parents that being strong not only in body but in mind as well, will keep her alive and being headstrong will allow her to persevere in the ninja world. Little did she know her true suffering was about to unfold...



Her training with her father and mother allowed her to be enrolled automatically into the ranks of the Genin, which was a rather rare case. Though, her training didn’t end there. In fact, it became even tougher. All the same exercises but on a tougher scale, requiring chakra control and extremely high aptitudes for strength and speed. About three months into being a Genin, her parents threw Eden into the fire and pitted her against other high-ranking shinobi, Chuunin and Jounin, for sparring purposes. They never held back, so the bruises were heavy and she was often knocked unconscious due to all the pain her body was slowly starting to get used to. For the first six months of this introduction, she was not able to handle the constant sparring and was always knocked unconscious after a match, and was usually out the rest of the day. After that six months, though, she began finally developing more strength throughout her body and gradually got more and more used to the pain. Her entire family was proud of her rather fast growth, and such pride gave her the confidence she really needed in order to continue on the path she was currently walking. However, the first of many tragedies in Eden’s life was just around the corner. It was on her eighth month of being a Genin, and she was having a day off from training and spending it with her family. The morning of that day was well enough and everyone was just taking a rest from war and training. However, at about midday, her two elder brothers were assigned a mission…one that required they go into the lion’s den, infiltrate, and capture the enemy’s commanding officer. Of course, they both accepted the mission without hesitation because they were proud to serve the Land of Fire and protect their home. Everyone including Eden said their goodbyes to the two brothers, and then they left. The rest of the day remained peaceful, though deep down, Eden was worried about her brothers; she hoped and she prayed that they would return safely. That was not meant to be, however. A week had passed and there was no word from the two brothers…none. It was not until a day after that week that there was word of the two brothers, though those words did not bring good tidings to the worried family. The family was utterly devastated at the news, but none of them could have been prepared for how the little girl Eden took their deaths. She was far more devastated by the news…so much so that it was how she learned of her first known chakra nature: Raiton. However, the realization of her nature went south very quickly. She became enraged from the loss of her brothers and her raiton chakra flew quickly out of control…to the point where her very flesh began to bleed and even the chakra itself changed to a light-blood-red-with-a-hue-of- blue color. Her family tried their best to get her down, but their attempts seemed to be in vain. The girl’s body was slowly turning into a mangled corpse…her raiton chakra becoming so unstable that none of her family could even get close to her. Moments into this happening, Eden flew into a deep rage and began to thrash their home, finally breaking through the wall leading her outside. Eden’s father, Massatsu, had no choice but to activate his legendary raiton armor: Raiton no Yoroi, for that was the only thing he believed could get him close to the girl without being harmed by her unstable chakra. What ensued was a brutal battle between father and daughter; a battle that ended finally in the little girl’s unconsciousness. Terrified they would lose their daughter, they rushed her to a hospital immediately to be treated. Had they been but one second later, the little girl would have become a corpse. The girl’s body sustained heavy damage from the unstable chakra, but luckily, she was able to recover with no deficiencies. However, her body was covered in scars and they would never disappear. It was the price to pay in order for her to remain alive. A price her family was more than willing to pay.


One year and three months were spent in bandages, recovering from that day. However, that did not stop her from continuing her training, even if it only consisted of her daily, three-time-a-day routine. Due to her parents’ constant need for her to train in the entirety of her life currently, she did not have the will to stop training even for a day unless she passed out which was often. This caused her family to worry about her condition, especially the youngest daughter Yumiko who always looked up to Eden as not only a sister but a shinobi as well. After the incident, she hardly ever smiled, laughed, or really even talked to anyone; that was what worried her family the most. The mental and emotional trauma the incident caused her. It was a gamble on its own saving her from the physical trauma, which was a genuine miracle that she survived it. Time passed quickly, that year and three months, and a special event occurred in that third month which sparked a change of heart in Eden.

It was about the middle of that month and not much had changed, though the girl had come a long way in terms of her recovery and will have fully recovered within the next year; maybe even less if she remained on the path she had been on. On that day, she met for the first time a boy from the Uchiha Clan and a woman who looked to be the boy’s mother, though it was not until later down the road when she had learned it was in fact the boy’s mother. Eden’s father was extremely famous in the Land of Fire for his great many deeds in those times of war, so it was not all too surprising that the Uchiha would go to pay respects to him and his family. In a way, Eden’s entire family was reputable throughout the Land of Fire because of Massatsu and Genesis simply for the fact that they had lived for so long already during such an age where most shinobi did not live past their thirties. On top of that, their ninja skills were nearly legendary at best, especially her father Massatsu who was a Sennin of the Land of Fire. His reputation was attributed to his prowess with the raiton element and his legendary Raiton no Yoroi, which was quite possibly the most powerful raiton technique in the Ninja world in that period. Back to that current time, the two Uchiha came to Eden’s family household to pay their respects and make a simple visit because on that day, in March of 1544, it was Eden’s eleventh birthday.

Unexpectedly, they were the only ones present when the visit took place. It would have made more sense if they had bodyguards or something, considering they were Uchiha but Eden was still a bit young to understand exactly who those two Uchiha were. Later, she will have come to find out that the boy she met on that day would become the Shuchō of the Uchiha Clan. Eden was outside for most of the time the two Uchiha were visiting her family’s home, but she was not alone. The entire time the two were there, the boy remained outside with her as she trained, paying hardly any heed to the boy at all. If anyone had been looking at her in this period of time, they would be able to notice right away that she looked dead or at least close to it. She had no expressions on her face as she trained…no signs of strain on her face from the routines she was pulling of the entire time. It was certain the boy had figured this all out by sight alone, and even though she hardly payed any heed to the boy, she still was able to discern that the boy knew the same pain that she was going through at that very moment. Something about those few hours changed her mind-set at the time. Perhaps it was because she didn’t feel as though she was the only one going through that exact pain…perhaps it was because of the way the boy payed attention to her those hours without saying a word…she still never, even to the current day, could figure out why.


Two years will have passed as though they were but a blur. It was likely that the little eleven-year-old girl decided time was not of importance anymore. She dwelt less and less on the past as the days flew by, training every day as her parents had taught her from the very beginning of her life. As she grew, she came to understand more of the wisdom her family tried to bestow upon her over the years, and then she flew through her training, heeding their words and letting the words strengthen her will. Indeed, it was tough for her and indeed she was still hurt by the loss of her elder brothers, but she finally understood after months of hardening her resolve that the last thing her brothers wanted was to be saddened by their deaths. After all, they died protecting their home…their family. There was no greater honor in her eyes and that honor turned into pride and strength. In those two years that seemingly flew forward, Eden began taking on missions for her country, ranging from menial errands to escorting provisional groups from the main village to the multiple surrounding outposts all over the Land of Fire, including the large border to the surrounding lands. Her completion rates were perfect and her prowess in combat grew in reputation with every big mission she took. Even as a young Genin, she became both feared and respected among her people…a theme that continues with her even to the current time. More so than either of those things though, she was loved by her people in the Land of Fire and this fact grew more and more as she grew older. However, this was not the end of her suffering. This was not the end of the pain deep within her heart. Before the end comes, Eden will have come to know the true ruthlessness that was war and its ability to encourage more and more death...



It was January of 1546 when Eden had been promoted to the rank of Chuunin. This promotion was attributed to her many accomplishments throughout the Land of Fire, including her prowess in close combat, her perfect record for mission completion, as well as her few accomplishments on the battlefield. So young to have earned such a reputation was she, but it did not stop her from continuing her training. On the battlefield, she had earned her first title: Jigoku-ki Sāji (Hell Surge) attributed to her long, red hair and the unique color in chakra she had. Upon earning this title on the battlefield, she earned the right to be taught the legendary Raiton no Yoroi by her father who knew she was ready for the task. The reason he knew she was ready was because of the incident back when her elder brothers died. The raiton chakra that manifested during her rage was on par with that of Raiton no Yoroi and it was why she was able to fight her father while in that rage. Her father knew this, and he decided to take advantage of the fact by teaching her to control and utilize that raiton affinity. The training was grueling and there was no rest for either of the two shinobi. Her father constantly pushed her to the limit; every time that they trained, Eden came closer and closer to being able to use Raiton no Yoroi. It was not until April of 1546 that she was finally able to harness the raw power of the Raiton no Yoroi and use it at will. This achievement brought her much fame throughout the Land of Fire, and it struck fear into the hearts of her opponents on the battlefield. Her achievements over the next months piled and piled upon each other, earning her other titles, Raimei Megami* and Denkō Hontai Hanrei**, and solidifying her reputation among all of the lands of the ninja world. However, this series of greatness would come to a halt and yet another tragedy would fall upon Eden and her family.

*The translation is "Lightning Goddess."
**The title was passed down to her from her father Massatsu. The translation is "Lightning Body Legend."


July of 1548 was the month in which the next tragedy was to unfold before her very eyes. She and her elder sister were tasked with heading out to one of the encampments on the northeastern corner of the Land of fire, in order to supply them with reinforcements for the next two weeks of that month. Of course the two girls accepted the task without hesitation, so they packed light and headed out on their way to the encampment with haste after speaking their farewells to the rest of the family. The travel was peaceful enough, as there were no hitches throughout the two-day travel period. The two days had seemingly passed in the blink of an eye as they arrived upon the encampment that was in need of reinforcements. They were put to work as soon as they had checked in with the commanding shinobi of the encampment. The tasks ranged from repairing and enforcing the barricades outside the walls to training the greenhorns in the encampment. The greenhorns in the encampment were not new to war, but instead new to using what they had learned in training and applying it in combat. Eden and her elder sister devised several different scenarios for those groups of shinobi so that they were able to understand how their training could be applied properly during war. Those scenarios included cases where there was a chance of flanking the opponent, cases where they were surrounded, cases where they had the high-ground advantage and vice versa, and cases where there were no other options but to attack head-on. These teachings were worked on over the course of the first week, and luckily there were no enemies to interrupt. The next week was meant to be an “absorption” week, where they took time to sit down and take in all that they had learned in the first week. All went well for the first three days of the second week, but then terror struck and Eden’s second tragic event occurred without a second’s notice.

It happened two nights before the two siblings were to return home from their two-week escapade. It was not so late that it was time for shifts to begin, so all of the shinobi of the encampment including Eden and her sister were still out and about their business fortifying the walls and making battle plans. However, out of nowhere, true terror struck the encampment and attempts to thwart the onslaught were nigh in vain. The Nine-Tailed Beast, or Kyuubi, came crashing down on them similar to a natural disaster. What seemed to be a calm, relaxing day turned into an unstoppable nightmare in mere seconds and the encampment was up in flames. None but Eden and her elder sister survived the onslaught, but the night was not yet over.  Their anger and sadness for the loss of their comrades spurred them forward, toward the Tailed Beast. Thus, a battle ensued between the girls and the Kyuubi for two days and nights. All three members of that battle were wearing down and it became close to time to finishing it when the Kyuubi summoned a large ball of chakra, the Bijuudama, and aimed it at the two girls. In a last ditch effort, Eden’s elder sister sacrificed her life and remaining chakra to redirect the Bijuudama back at the Tailed Beast by using her body as the catalyst for the mirror. Luckily the damage done to the Beast via its own Bijuudama forced it to retreat and it left the encampment in ruins, leaving the two siblings alone in the broken place surrounded by the bodies of their comrades. As they stood there in silence, rain began to pour upon the sight and slowly washed away the blood and fire. Moments later, Eden’s elder sister smiled and began to fall backward and the girl managed to catch her at the last moment, tears beginning to fall from Eden’s eyes. The elder sister had said much after she had fallen, and this is what she had said in those final moments before she fell into eternal sleep:

"My dear sister...I am so glad that you are able to live. I am so proud of how far you have come in such little time...you have grown so fast...I am proud to be your sister, Eden. Please...try to smile more...being sad will only give you wrinkles. Ha..ha. Get stronger, okay...? For all of us, and more importantly, for yourself...you never know when something like this may happen again...I love you, little sister. Remain strong...and some day, I will see you on the other side..."

Silence fell upon the place as the elder sister was taken by death into an eternal sleep. There were no words for her to speak, but she engraved her sister’s dying words into her mind and heart. Another end…and the beginning of another. This still was not to be the end of her suffering. She had lost her brothers, and then she lost her elder sister. What happened in the years to come would be the most devastating event in her life, but for the time being she picked up her elder sister and ran as fast and hard as she could back home to give her sister the proper funeral that she certainly deserved...

Combat Style:

Eden's fighting style is seemingly straight-forward as it simply requires hand-to-hand combat. However, this is merely the surface of her true style as there are many different sub-forms and techniques/styles within it.

Over the years, she has developed a fighting style that is derived from Shaolin martial arts and she then tweaked it to accommodate her abilities and such. Such styles include special footwork and movement patterns while at the same time incorporating a very potent, or powerful, offense as well as defense.

In terms of offense, Eden is very...forward in her overall fighting style as she just goes straight into hand-to-hand combat and she does not use techniques that may be considered hidden or secretive, which may perhaps be a flaw but it in fact is not. The reason why it is not is due to the fact that, for most beings, one would be on the look-out for techniques that could possibly be hidden from the line of sight. Eden eliminates this factor by ridding herself of techniques that utilize that style of combat, which takes the opponent off-guard as they would continuously search for such hidden strikes but to no avail. As was said sentences earlier, she is very straight-forward when it comes to fighting, but it is really a bit more complex than what it seems. Her footwork for instance is very different, as she changes her "rhythm" every time her opponent stops to breathe, keeping her opponent constantly on their toes. The "rhythms" she utilizes depends upon her opponent, as every being is different from one to the next, though these "rhythms" even are uneven and sporadic. This allows her to keep her opponent from getting a lock on her fighting patterns, which she has none but she makes it seem like there are patterns in order to fool her opponents.

In terms of defense, she is the exact same way as offense. In the same way, her defensive capabilities seem very straight-forward and easy to notice but it is actually a bit more complex than what the eyes can see. When defending from a distance, Eden focuses on her footwork and body weight to maneuver herself around spirit-based, long-range techniques. By using her weight, she adds momentum to her movements, causing her to move slightly faster, while at the same time using her footwork to keep control and grace over her movements. When defending in arms-reach combat, her defensive techniques become circular in natural movement and she uses the dead weight of her arms to push away all attacks that come her way. These circular movements are very broad and they are easy to notice if only one block is made but if she is blocking multiple attacks, such movements become for more fluid and quick causing an opponent's vision to be confused by the circular, defensive movements and creating an opening for Eden to attack back.

When fighting against opponents with weapons, Eden again alters her fighting style to accommodate such weaponry as she has much knowledge on the weapons of the worlds. When it comes to weapons, it really comes down to her footwork that counts the most because there are many different styles to accommodate each weapon which means there would be too much to adapt to if one were to focus on the overall body. By allowing her footwork to guide her around weapon-based attacks, she is able to use the rest of her body as a counter for the openings in a weapon user's techniques.

As she is extremely formidable in combat alone, she also utilizes strategy and planning what will happen in future steps. Eden takes great pride in being able to plan her moves against an opponent and gain the advantage merely by intelligence and knowledge of battle tactics. This knowledge would be considered the icing which tops of the cake of her fighting style and it is what allows her to hold an advantage even when against opponents who are superior to her in terms of power.

Description: Gamabunta is a very large toad, which towers over trees, dwarfs most large rock formations, and is larger than most buildings. He's so large he's comparable in size to the gargantuan Tailed Beasts. He is colored a dull, rusty red, but around his eyes and on his lips and chest are brighter red markings. Over his left eye, he received a scar at some point in the past, but can still see out of it. His tongue, has a series of stud-like piercings on both the upper and lower side. He often wears a large blue happi vest, and always carries a massive dosu blade at his hip. He also carries a large kiseru pipe which he often smokes. Gamabunta is a grumpy and highly apathetic toad. He does not like to take orders from anyone, unless the summoner is highly talented and earns his respect. While he is quite confident of his abilities as a fighter, he is well aware of his limitations and perceptive of the power of his enemies. He is fiercely protective of his kin. He hates to be underestimated by anyone, both of which take precedence over his normal apathy. Often, it is one or a combination of these two factors that entices him to fight.

Gamakichi is a young orange toad with purple markings around his eyes, mouth and stomach. He is only ten feet tall, but is still rather powerful for his age. He is rather funny, and has the mannerisms of a smart-alec. He is also often very condescending as well as light-hearted in most situations, preferring the levity of talk to the seriousness of battle. After he is summoned he tends to greet people by saying, "Yo."

Description: From his first appearance, Gamatatsu shows that he would choose snacks over someone's life. However, this isn't really the case, as he does actually care for his master's life. Its just that his sense of priority is a little skewed. His obsession with snacks is so great that there are stories of him having waited a year since his first summon for the snack he had been promised, even though he still didn't get it. He is always hungry and asking his summoner for snacks, and often gets confused by unusual predicaments, in which he counts on his "big brother Gamakichi" to help him with. He also openly refers to his father Gamabunta as "daddy", which the older toad either chooses to ignore or simply doesn't mind. Gamatatsu seems to lack a sense of danger. However, this fearlessness may also have been due to his titanic and overprotective father's presence, or his lack of a sense of endangerment.
