A relative newcomer to the political arena of the ongoing power struggle across the various lands, the Sanjuro Clan has long been a fixture in the Land of Wind. Starting out as a family of glass-smiths, and earning an international reputation as craftsmen capable of creating beautiful pieces of art from the fragile crystalline compound that was their canvas. Over time however they eventually learned how to ply their craft in less artistic ways, eventually breaking into the world of the ninja arts and earning a new reputation as skilled assassins as well. As time passed their power and influence grew, having the honored distinction of raising several Jounin Commanders over the years, and eventually even serving as the elite guard of the Shuchō.

This all changed however, during the short but bloody civil war that nearly consumed the shinobi of Kaze no Kuni less then five years ago. During this conflict the head of the Sanjuro family was instrumental in uniting the factions and driving out the invading Earth ninja, proving himself a worthy leader and thus reluctantly taking on the title of Kaze no Shuchō following the final battle. The title has since passed on to his daughter: Fei, the youngest of the current Shuchō as well as being the first woman to ever serve in the roll.

Description:
Born with a natural affinity for aesthetics and glass working, the Sanjuro Clan has developed the ability to psychically manipulate their chosen medium to do just about anything they want. Similar to the Yuki Clan's Ice Release, the Sanjuro are capable of hardening or bending glass into various shapes, and even using it as a medium for passing into the second dimension with just a thought or a simple gesture.

Abilities Summary:

• Sanjuro Clan members gain the Elemental Proficiency Ability for free and it does not fill their initial two slots.
  
  • This means a starting character under this clan would have three elemental specializations, for free.
    
  
  
• Sanjuro Clan members posses the Glass-Element Advanced Chakra Nature for free at any rank.
  
  • They must also posses the required Basic Natures: Earth, Wind, and Lightning.
